Kayaking is a relatively new adventure on Aruba, and visitors are taking to it with enthusiasm. You will search out hidden caves and get up close and personal with the island’s mangrove forest growing in clearwater Spanish Lagoon, where juvenile fish feed. Then paddle over to De Palm Island for lunch and a bit of beach time. Later, you can snorkel over a coral reef. No experience is necessary. A well-informed local guide leads you through the basics and handles all the details from pick-up to drop-off at your hotel. The six-hour package costs $82 per person.
